Cyber Monday Deals
November 26, 2012
What is Cyber Monday Deals you ask? Talk about confusing! Here is the short spiel of what Cyber Monday is:
First we have Thanksgiving Day in the U.S.A. and the day after is referred to as Black Friday and we all know that means crazy early morning sales for the best shopping deals of the year!
Well not to be outdone the Monday immediately following Black Friday has been known as Cyber Monday since November 28 of 2005 because online marketers wanted to cash in on this sales boom idea. Not only are sales good for those selling products but also buyers can get some amazing deals online and who hasn't realized yet how awesome it is to buy goods and services online? Buying online is quick, easy and saves you the hassle of standing in line, wasting gas driving from store to store and mall to mall and most of all allows you to avoid the crowds of holiday shoppers. Increased sales that occur because of online marketing efforts benefit everyone – the seller, the buyer and all of us when the economy gets a boost in the arm! Best of all shoppers not yet satisfied with grabbing the best deals can continue the madness once they return to work the Monday after the big weekend of shopping. Once at work they turn on computer screens, tablets and mobile devices during lunch, while taking breaks or after work; so that they can snag even better and bigger deals until they are good and fully satisfied that they have maxed out on all the good vibes that come from saving money on the goods and services they desire to have and hate to pay full price for, on other shopping days of the year.
Other countries take part in Cyber Monday too including Canada (started celebrating in 2010), Chile (started celebrating in 2011), France (started celebrating in 2008), Germany (started celebrating in 2010), Portugal (started celebrating in 2009) and also United Kingdom (same day as the U.S. celebrated Cyber Monday). New Zealand celebrates Cyber Monday starting with November 29 of 2010 when the sale lasted five days.
